How do you signal entry and exit points for cryptocurrency trading?

Crypto is considered the riskiest asset to trade among all other assets. Bitcoin is the leading indicator for all other crypto currencies. If Bitcoin is not doing well, its next to impossible for any other crypto to do well in the same time period. To start with the technical analysis one should be very aware of what Bitcoin is doing and keeping that in mind, should start the analysis of any other altcoin. Another thing to keep in mind is DXY or the Dollar index. As Crypto are high risk assets they have a very strong inverse correlation with DXY (which represents cash in this case). So if the dollar index is going up, means there is strong demand for cash in the market and the first thing people start selling are the high risk assets.

I follow technical analysis for couple of my strategy but frankly speaking one of my strategy that does not follow price action also does well that too without applying any mind and works well with many assets .

Chart types of crypto are similar to traditional assets. Traditional japanese candlesticks, P&F charts or even volume, delta or TPO charts can be used in Crypto just like legacy markets. For time frames, its always recommended to have a top-down approach. One should start with a Quarterly chart to monthly, weekly daily and so on. Investing in crypto requires one to understand the psychology of investing in crypto currency. The focus must be on understanding buyer sentiment. Use investment tools/apps to gain info on stockastics. Crypto is great for inflation as an asset class. It's not timing the market but time in the market.

Market can be flat for a prolonged period of time which might test your patience. Patience and risk management are your biggest weapons. Also, choice of crypto currency.
