How do you import Excel data into Arena without losing formatting?

1 Prepare your Excel file

Before importing Excel data into Arena, you should make sure your file is formatted correctly and compatible with Arena. The best format to save the file in is .csv (comma-separated values), which is more compatible than .xlsx or .xls formats. Ensure data is arranged in columns and rows, with each column representing a variable or attribute and each row representing a record or entity. If you imported attribute data, the Assign module can be employed to assign values from your Excel file to entity attributes in Arena. Similarly, if you imported variable data, the Expression module will assign values from your Excel file to variables in Arena.
