How do you deal with conflicts and challenges within your team and network?

1 Identify the sources of conflict

You need to be able to articulate your goals, strategies, expectations, and feedback in a clear and constructive way. Seek to understand before being understood, and acknowledge the contributions and concerns of others.

3 Seek common ground and compromise

Focus on the shared vision and values that brought you together, and identify the areas of agreement and alignment. 4 Manage stress and emotions

Grassroots organizing can be stressful and emotionally draining, especially when you face opposition, resistance, or setbacks. You need to be able to manage your stress and emotions, and prevent them from affecting your relationships and performance.
