Cultivating a solid professional network in the IT consulting sector requires a well-defined strategy, which includes both traditional networking and the use of digital channels to build valuable relationships. When building a professional network, think about what you can offer before you ask for something. This creates a genuine approach and makes you a valuable asset in the network. If you are an expert in a specific area, make your knowledge available or share interesting or useful content. You can also become a mentor to junior professionals, gaining recognition and appreciation in the industry. Cultivating a network in the IT consulting industry is an ongoing investment, but with dedication, you can build a network that supports you.

Collaborative Knowledge Always!!! We are in an era where contribution is the key to building much greater things. The idea that having knowledge "secured opportunities" is a thing of the past. By sharing your good practices, you have the opportunity to hear much cooler things that can be done with it and with that, new midsets... Everyone likes to be helped, but when we help, we earn much more than just money. .. we have the opportunity to generate something much bigger and that really adds value.

Ich sehe keinen Grund Wissen nicht sofort zu teilen. Es kann nicht immer direkt eine Gegenleistung erfolgen. Vermutlich sieht man gar nicht, wie oft man selbst jeden Tag von Wissen anderer profitiert, ohne etwas sofort und direkt zurückzugeben. Man darf sich keine Gedanken über Gegenleistung machen, das tut nicht gut. Wenn man ehrlich Freude daran hat anderen zu helfen, erhält man sehr viel zurück und die Rechnung geht auf, aber man soll es bitte nicht nachrechnen.

Das ist gar nicht so leicht, ab einer gewissen Anzahl von Kontakten. Im daily business kommt das oft zu kurz. Wenn man aber ein Gespür entwickelt, wer an einem ehrlichen Austausch interessiert ist, sollte man mit diesen Kontakten in den Dialog gehen. Ich bin kein Freund von coffee calls mit jedem, der fragt, weil der andere oft einfach nur etwas verkaufen möchte, was ich gar nicht brauche. Das raubt dann auch seine Zeit. Aber wenn man ähnliche Absichten hat, ist ein regelmäßiger Austausch sinnvoll und hoffentlich haben beide Seiten Freude daran.

Nur auf IT-Berater beschränken ist absolut falsch. Anfangs habe ich mich nicht mit IT-Beratern vernetzt, weil ich dachte, mit Wettbewerbern macht das keinen Sinn. Abger auch hier habe ich dazugelernt und schätze den Austausch, neue Perspektiven. Ich schränke mich aber momentan auf meine Region ein, also den deutschsprachigen Raum. Allerdings gerade in der IT sind Kontakte in Indien z.B. wertvoll.
