Here's what I do to create a helpful reference for the overall design journey- 1. Word documents - Writing down my concept, inspirations, materials/influences I want to include, etc. helps a ton in figuring out where to start, and also allows me to refer to square one of the process. 2. Flowcharts/Whiteboards- Whiteboards have been my recent companion in conceptualization. Being a rough planner, I like to mark and color code my plan. It allows me to categorize and figure out leading areas of focus. Miro board is really helpful and free! 3. Mood boards - The essential of any design process. Photos, pantones, swatches, keywords etc. Physical and digital mood boards are both amazing! Happy designing!
