Bridging the gap between executives and teams requires fostering open dialogue, aligning goals, and promoting mutual understanding here’s my approach: 1- Facilitate Communication by I act as a conduit by organizing regular meetings where executives and team members can discuss priorities, challenges, and updates directly. 2- Clarify Objectives by I ensure that executives’ strategic goals are translated into actionable tasks for the team, using clear, concise language to minimize misunderstandings. 3- Encourage Feedback by I create a safe space for both sides to voice concerns and ideas, ensuring that feedback flows in both directions to build trust and address disconnects.

Há aqui 2 pontos que considero essenciais: 1) Sensibilização para a própria comunicação: em boa parte das vezes a comunicação não vai bem pelo seu próprio desconhecimento, seja com canais, conteúdo, emissor, ruídos ou receptor. Oferecer meios para que a competência em si evolua tanto quanto aquilo que se carrega com ela pode ser um grande diferencial. 2) Ênfase nos ganhos: independente do plano de ação, se os ganhos pós-mudança não forem colocados claramente à mesa logo cedo o risco de um esforço em vão só aumenta. Ou seja, preencher esta lacuna com consequências positivas claras tende a ser uma importante estratégia.

La política de puertas abiertas es importante, pero el ejecutivo debe tener la madurez y criterio necesarios para disgregar la información valiosa y desarrollarla, y aquí está su manejo de equipos al involucrar a los colaboradores en la tarean de la implementación de las mejoras que ellos mismos proponen. Como señalo, con criterio y un seguimiento adecuados. Otro tema importante es la escucha activa. La comunicación unilateral es un monologo infructuoso. El jefe que inmparte directivas y normas, y no escucha propuestas podría estar perdiendo la oportunidad de implementar excelentes ideas. Los puntos de vista no deben ser únicos, y menos aún ser atendidos solo si vienen de la parte más alta del organigrama.

A simple shift from “me” to “we” can transform miscommunication into meaningful collaboration. In my experience, the most important step is encouraging each leader to clarify what they really want to achieve—it’s often the key to unlocking progress. From there, stepping into each other’s shoes to understand what colleagues need and value can build incredible empathy. Once individual goals are clear, aligning on shared outcomes becomes much easier. Creating space for open, honest conversations allows teams to move past assumptions and focus on solutions. From “me” to “we” 💡 — and back again when needed!

Miscommunication stems out of agendas! For the leader and the team to clear miscommunication, a level of understanding shall be there with pure intentions It is on the leader to lead the situation and have a understanding of the team objectives, yet for him as well to set the cadence within the team inducing transparency or at least clarity This is fostered via coaching the executive on the objectivity approach, the communication model, leadership approaches and the Focus notions!!
