On a business level : be very clear about your responsibilities and those that fall outside your agreement with the client. Kindly but firmly point out inconsistencies, if any. State your willingness to do what is requested, yet mention that it may generate an increase in budget if officially requested (ask for a written track). Gain time by saying what is requested is not yours to decide (if possible). On a human level : use your breath. Inhale and exhale through the nose to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system and decrease your stress response. Use nasal inhaling in between sentences: that will help calm you down, and create a calm and grounded rhythm to the conversation. Use the "3 breaths" technique before answering.

Self care is most important ! Always put your oxygen mask on first . You can’t help anyone if you are not well rested , dehydrated or hungry . Think before you react ! Set healthy boundaries & limits . Practice mindfulness Always be compassionate & empathetic. Actively listen to your patients they know their bodies the best . Honesty if you don’t know the answer tell them that you will work on finding an answer / however this doesn’t happen instantaneously. Be kind iron sharpens iron pray & seek Gods guidance . Some people don’t work well together that’s ok ! Maybe another practitioner might be more helpful - Ask the patient what he or she needs from you. Be honest Be kind 🙏

É desgastante, e, muitas vezes, esses clientes não sabem respeitar os limites do trabalho do outro. Por isso, é importante estabelecer uma comunicação clara e estipular os limites sobre o seu trabalho. Você pode começar definindo o tempo de interação que terá disponível para se dedicar a este cliente e limitar o acesso do mesmo quando não estiver nos horários previamente combinados. É interessante estipular os prazos para a prestação do serviço, para que não haja falsa expectativa ou má comunicação de nenhum dos lados.
