Pick 2-3 key actions and assign: • Who's responsible • When it's due • How to measure success and identify key learnings Remember: Some will resist change. Listen to them, but focus on those ready to move forward. Share learnings, celebrate wins, and adjust your plan based on what works.

We designate the senior-most position on call as team lead. Orders come from the lead, who observes and has no procedural obligations. If another clinician has a differing opinion they will quietly voice it to the team lead. In open conflict, the lead can ask anyone to leave, and the team supports. Shortly after the code, we invite all team members to a debrief. Everyone can voice their opinion and emotions. Some days later, we have a confidential conference-- open to all-- where opinions are openly discussed, without emotion, and a goal of continual improvement.
