Engaging the community through surveys forms, open forum discussions is important. Their viewpoint gives a direction to common consensus on urban planning issues. Community engagement is vital for successful urban development. Strategies such as participatory workshops allow community members to voice their concerns and aspirations, while public consultations through surveys and hearings gather diverse perspectives. Appointing community liaison officers helps to bridge communication gaps, improving trust and integrating feedback into project planning. In India, initiatives like the MyGov platform facilitate citizen feedback, and Citizen's Charters promote transparency and accountability. Additionally, Resident Welfare Associations represent community interests, enabling more equitable and sustainable urban spaces through active involvement and collaboration.
