Here are the points how to deal this challenge effectively: 1- Transparency of the assignment: Informed them ahead regarding the project core assignment, reason, scheduled completion time line and general briefing of the project. 2- Clear boundaries: Specific limitation has been declared what feedback can be acted upon immediately and whichever need long term consideration. 3- Engage early with community: Hold initial meeting with them as early as possible, gather feedback, set expectations and reduce surprises.
