Addressing the client's needs is an important factor but we must explain to the client that short-term gains are not that feasible and it ends up giving the same result as the long-term gains if you stick to a sustainable strategy. Also, short-term gains attract higher taxes. Which means the client is losing money any which way. The clear communication and some mathematical explanation would help the client understand it better. Even then if they want to try out short-term trades, we can allocate a small % of funds for speculative trading.
