In Accounting, managing multiple clients at a time is very challenging. It may cause distress if left unmanageable. My approach to manage all the client's without compromising the quality is that I always prioritize the client work based on its complexities, urgency and of course revenues. Keep the client updated regarding the progress of work by COB before they themselves started following up, as it may leave a bad impression. Most importantly, never give a client an exact date of work completion. Uncertainty element is always there in future deliverables, it may increase stress, when deadline is approaching and result in compromising the quality. Therefore, giving an estimated date of deliverables to client is a better approach.

Some ways to get started, Make a note of all deadlines in accordance to their timelines, schedule a two day in advance reminder and keep focusing on those tasks that are utmost important and prioritise. End of Day summarise and post a reminder for yourself if anything is carried for the next day. Try automating repetitive tasks. Always plan extra for any contingent situations day to day. Keep a keen eye on emails and tasks and execute them carefully. Follow a strategy of follow up with peers and bosses if necessary. Give your best. That’s how its done.
