FORCED FOCUS
Similar to enabling Always On Top, there could be an option to force Windows to 'focus' on a window of an app or a browser.
This might be part of the options in Always On Top or its own separate feature.
Scenario when this would be used?
Specifically, the scenario is caused by a program I am using called Protopie (PP, for short) and its extension Protopie Connect.
PP is a digital prototyping tool for HMI. PP Connect allows you to connect to Arduino or even XBOX hardware.
Trouble is, in Windows-based machines, universal input monitoring doesn't exist apparently. So, if the PP Connect app window becomes un-focused for some reason, the connection to external hardware is effectively lost, and in-browser prototypes stop responding.
In however it might manifest, this request is a workaround to allow for what the Input Monitoring similar to Macs readily provides.
