Description of the new feature / enhancement

Workspaces capturing window snapping state as well as commandline arguments of the processes. Possibly more state data, like their occupied RAM but compressed? their starting directory? anything that can actually get you right back to it.

Scenario when this would be used?

You have multiple projects working on. You'd like to automate the launching of your project softwares. This is most useful for multi-window jobs like game development and web development etc.

Supporting information

i think this is something we can all agree will make the Workspaces a whole lot better! but I don't have a research article on it

I would deff like it to capture how the windows are snapped. I snap my spotify because otherwise it will automatically expand a bit and go onto my main monitor.

It appears it's implemented in newer versions, so I'm closing this one. Thanks PowerToys team 🫡
