It would be interesting to see how the performance of watermill on Google Cloud Pub/Sub vs Google Cloud Pub/Sub Lite. You can read more about the new "Lite" feature here: https://cloud.google.com/pubsub/docs/choosing-pubsub-or-lite#pubsub_lite and here https://cloud.google.com/pubsub/lite/docs
This feature is still in beta, so maybe it's a bit too early to get excited about it, but thought I'd suggest it :)
